It’s been another successful year at South Hunsley School as students and their families joined staff to receive their GCSE results. Students have once again performed incredibly well with many exceptional individual and subject performances. Outcomes across the board were very strong with 85% of students achieving 9-4 grades in English and Maths and 63% of students achieving 9-5 grades. We have also seen an increase in the number of students that achieved a strong pass in English compared to last year, a brilliant outcome that is not only down to the hard work and dedication of our Year 11 students but also our staff in the English department.
Early indications show another very strong year for the level of progress this group of students have made during their time at South Hunsley School.
Richard Williman, Head of School, said “We are delighted that our students have again performed so well. These impressive results are a reflection of the hard work that students and staff have put in during their time at South Hunsley along with the fantastic support given by parents/carers and governors. It was a real pleasure to have been able to join our students and their families along with staff and share that immense pride in their achievement.”
