South Hunsley School crowned as national champions at Derby County’s Pride Park.

Having gone from strength to strength throughout the competition the South Hunsley School team faced Heathside School on Monday 15 May 2017 and were crowned ESFA PlayStation Schools’ Cup national champions after an impressive 5-1 win. The game was notable for great play and fantastic goals, which gripped both those in attendance and the hundreds watching the live stream from home. Jess Park was awarded player of the match after scoring 4 of the 5 goals.

Mr Jonny Uttley, Executive Principal of South Hunsley School said, “Watching the game you could see what a great team our Under 15 Girls are and my thanks go to South Hunsley School PE staff for their support of the girls throughout the competition. We are very proud of the effort and commitment of the whole squad.”
