Year 10 students visit National Space Centre

On Friday 13 July, a group of Year 10 students visited the National Space Centre in Leicester as part of Personal Development week.

The visit supports students who will be studying a space topic in Year 11 and included entrance to the Sir Patrick Moore Planetarium, six interactive galleries and the Rocket Tower. During the gallery trail, students become planetary detectives investigating facts and figures about the different planets in the Solar System and understanding the relevance of Maths within Science.

Students were a credit to the school throughout the visit with a fantastic time being had by all.
