Year 7 student makes outstanding community contribution

Over the Christmas period Year 7 student, Ruby P has been working hard to collect food for her local food bank. In total, she managed to collect over 50 full bags of food to be donated to Hull Food Bank who last year provided for over 1500 families in need over the Christmas period.

Not only is this a brilliant achievement for a student her age but also shows her strong community spirt and will ultimately have had a huge impact on less fortunate families this Christmas.

Alongside this donation and the numerous others she has organised, she has also been taking food to a local homeless person and their dog for a number of years whom she has come to develop a great relationship with. Well done Ruby and keep up the fantastic work you are doing to raise awareness of homelessness in our area.
